This is the first video shown that introduces the learner to the look and feel of the Microsoft Word graphical interface. The purpose is to aquaint the beginner with where to look and what the they might expect to happen with certain elements. It is not yet the HOW TO of this workshop. 28 Minutes

Continuing from Word 1 - 2, we are looking at "Selecting Text" which is necessary before we learn how to change smaller parts of the document. This section includes what a mouse looks like both physically and on the screen. We then look at several methods of selecting text depending on what the screen shows as the shape of the mouse or curser. We finish by looking at how to see hidden characters and what is their function. 27 Minutes

This video will go through new techniques and complications that comprise a second level of things you can do with a word processor, hence the name Word 2! After finishing this video you will be able to understand and use more tools to produce professional looking documents. Items covered are understanding TABS, Inserting files, Justification of text, use of Columns and Drop Caps, Layout views, Spell check, Finding, Counting, and Replacing text. And, as an added extra, the ability to sort lists.
